The SD CFAR Navigator provides a clear, streamlined pathway for investigators to engage with the Center and access its full range of resources. Investigators can enter through a single, user-friendly web-based request portal, eliminating the need to identify and contact individual Cores independently. From this entry point, the Navigator connects users to tailored support, including expert consultation, clinical and laboratory services, training opportunities, and funding guidance, coordinated across multiple Cores as needed. This integrated approach ensures that investigators receive the right combination of services at the right time, with collaboration across Cores enhancing efficiency and impact. The Navigator is designed to support investigators at all stages, with particular attention to early stage investigators and those conducting biobehavioral HIV prevention research, by providing clear starting points, guided pathways, and ongoing support from project development through completion.
