Boards and Committees

The Executive Committee (EC) of the San Diego CFAR is a local group of internationally recognized scientific leaders representing all member institutions. While not directly funded by SD CFAR, they play a crucial role in guiding the program.

The EC ensures the scientific excellence and innovation of CFAR by:

• Conducting an annual program review in partnership with Core Directors.
• Reviewing and voting on funding reallocations over $25,000, the creation or closure of service cores, and other key decisions.
• Actively participating in strategic planning to shape the Center’s future direction.
